Step 1: Plug in your Hard Drive to your windows Pc.
Step 2: Click Start or press Windows Key and type disk management, you will this option “create and format hard disk partitions” click on it. Disk management Window will appear.

So here i am going to type 204800, as i am creating a 200 Gb partition.
Step 5: Now on this Screen you have Assign Drive Letter. select Drive Letter from Dropdown menu.
I have Assigned j as Drive Letter Now click on Next.

Here i am going to create three Partitions. you can create more or less according to your preference. Now if you have noticed in Unallocated Space remaining size is 731.29 GB. so here you can create a single partition of 731.29 GB or you can create a more different size partitions.
Step 8: Click on Next to Create Partition.
Step 9: Here you can type Partition Size you want to create or you can click on Next. here i am going to create another partition of 200Gb.

Step 12: Click on Finish.
Now you can See a “New Volume” Partition of 200 Gb.
Step 13: Now again i am Going to create another partition with remaining Unallocated Space of 531 Gb. so again Right Click and click on new Simple Volume.
Step 14: now click on Next.
Step 15: As we are not going to create any more partitions i am just leaving the volume size as it is and clicking on Next.
Step 16: Choose Drive letter. i am choosing here M. Click on Next.
Step 17:Now Choose File system Format. here i am choosing ExFat. Click on Next.
Step 18: Now Click on Finish.
So here we have created 3 partitions, you can create as many as you want. so this is how you can create partitions with different file formats on Microsoft Windows.
